Members can apply to the Management Committee for Classification of commercial Brafords to allow their progeny to be entered into the herd book of the Society.
Rule 7 (b) (i) Male herd cattle over the age of 20 months and female herd cattle over the age of 10 months with ¼ to ¾ Brahman blood and complying with the Braford Standard of Excellence can be submitted to the Classifier for inspection and classification.
An application form is obtained from the Society office. Once completed and returned the Classification Committee appoint a Classifier and observer to visit your property and inspect those cattle you wish to have classified.
All classified cattle are not eligible for exhibition (showing). Please refer to the Fee schedule. for costs involved.
