New and familiar faces gathered to form a large crowd to celebrate the 10th Annual New Dimension Braford Bull & Female sale at Bell Showgrounds on Saturday 30th August. To witness averages for all sections up on last years sale. Long time supporter of the Braford breed Brian Anderson “Glenovan”, Theodore opened the sale.

Braford Bulls sold for a Top Price of $12 000 – the bull Lot 3 Carinya Ogden was purchased by Brian & Trinket Anderson, “Glenovan” Theodore. Carinya Ogden topped the scales at 954kg at 29 months with an EMA of 133 sq cm offered by John & Jackie Amor – “Carinya” stud at Dulacca.

Building on its reputation for being the Braford breeds largest multi vendor Female sale. Registered Braford Females sold for a
Top Price of $4 000 – the heifer Lot 65 – 17 month old Carinya 2535 offered by John & Jackie Amor – “Carinya” stud at Dulacca, was purchased by Stewart Anderson “Glenovan” Theodore.

The Top Price in the younger portion of the Registered Females section (under 12 months) of $ 2 000 was paid for Lot 66 Ashby Silky offered by the Donovan Family “Ashby” stud Jimbour, and was purchased by the Hale Family “Wildash Braford stud Murrays Bridge.

3 quality 11mth old Commercial Females were offered by Ray Kidd, “Cashmere” stud at St George and averaged $693, 2 of these heifers were purchased by Julie Davies Yarraman, with a single heifer purchased by the Donovan Family “Ashby” Braford stud Jimbour.

Wildash Braford Stud was the winner of the $250 credit for females, and Tigrigie Cattle Co, Taroom the winner of the $500 credit for bulls.
