There was a total of 286 head of Braford weaners yarded.
It was a wet and freezing cold day to the least, but all went as well as could be expected in the challenging economic climate.
Malcolm and Sandra Kenny, Abernethy Brafords Gayndah won both pens of champion Braford Weaner Steers and Heifers, to be awarded the $500 National Sale Credit donated by the Australian Braford Society.
M & S Kenny, Abernethy sold 60 head of Braford steers return $451, averaging 164c/$373.
A&V Bambling, Penwhaupell, Gayndah sold 79 steers $365, topping $468.
O Kenny sold 71, 259kg steers to return 163c/$423.
R& D Kenny sold 70 heifers to a top of $143c/$367 to average $367.
The Wide bay Braford Promotion Group supported the day by providing Braford Burgers for the hungry crowd. They were gratefully enjoyed by all Sale patrons.
