8:30am – 4:30pm
$60 per person (includes morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea)
Hosted by the South Queensland Braford Promotional Group, this hands-on education day is designed to support and develop young people in the beef industry.

In May, all roads lead to Dubbo, NSW.
The ABS Braford feature show for 2026 is to be held at the Dubbo Show in central west NSW. It’s a large 3-day show that attracts many exhibitors and visitors from a large area, the cattle section has been known to have over 200 entries.
The cattle schedule is currently being finalised and will come out in next few weeks, it will consist of junior events (Jnr judging and Paraders) being held on the Friday, breed judging and led steer/led commercial cattle on the Saturday and a heifer show on the Sunday.
LED BRAFORD HEIFER SALE 22/5/26
We are also delighted to announce that Dubbo will be the venue for the inaugural ABS NSW Branch Braford heifer Sale.
This will be held on the Friday late afternoon (22nd May) at the Dubbo showgrounds. Note this is the night before the feature show judging and heifers must be exhibited in the show to be eligible for the sale. More details to come shortly….
CAMPING
Camping on the show ground is allowed at your own risk and its free – first in basis, but there is no access to power or the ability to hook up to water, so you will have to bring your own generators or solar panel set up if power is needed for camping. There are basic showers with hot water and toilets near the camping area.
Weather in May can be cold and wet but can also be fairly mild and pleasant – please check in with weather forecasts in the week prior.

ARRIVAL
Arrival at Showground is permitted from Wednesday the 20th of May for those wanting to arrive a day earlier to give cattle time to rest
All cattle have to be on show ground by Thursday afternoon.

Negative Pesti test results are due at time of entries – this includes any calves at foot – no exceptions – no results they will not accept your entry - the show society is strict on this
Dubbo Show society will also NOT accept late entries (date to be advised) so please make sure you have everything ready to go when entries come out!
