MCN Brafords Take Centre Stage at EKKA
It was a fantastic display and representation of the Braford breed at this year’s EKKA, with around 30 Brafords making their way into the show ring and showcasing the quality, versatility and strength of the breed.
Among a strong field of Braford exhibitors, MCN Brafords certainly made their mark, enjoying an outstanding day in the ring and taking home an incredible collection of major awards.
MCN Brafords claimed Champion Junior Bull, Champion Junior Heifer, Champion Senior Cow or Heifer, Champion Senior Bull and, to top it all off, Supreme Braford Exhibit.
To take out five of the major awards, including the coveted Supreme Braford Exhibit, is an exceptional achievement and a fantastic reflection of the quality of cattle being bred by MCN Brafords.
With around 30 Brafords forward for judging, the breed was certainly well represented throughout the EKKA cattle rings, providing visitors and fellow exhibitors with a great opportunity to see the breed on display.

Congratulations to all of the Braford exhibitors who made the effort to bring cattle to EKKA this year. It was a fine representation of the breed and a great result for Brafords, with plenty to celebrate from the show ring.
