Outstanding results at the National Braford Sale

Following on from a very successful New Dimension Sale the National Sale at Rockhampton had another outstanding result with new purchasers being active and return buyers making their presence felt.

Top price bull was $48,000 and was achieved by two studs. Ascot Stud of the Galloway Family Banana sold Ascot Lucky to Little Valley Brafords Casino and Carinya Brafords sold three lots for the equal top price Carinya Atlanta and Carinya Artie who was purchased by the Meek Family of Augethella and Carinya Advance who was purchased by Helen Hunt of Budgerie Brafords of Coonamble, both long-time supporters of the Amor Family. Carinya Stud member Jackie Amor believed that this year’s draft of bulls was possibly the best the Stud had presented. Second top price of $46,000 was achieved by the Galloway Family for Neimen Luke who was purchased by Little Valley and Glynnelly Studs of Casino in partnership. There were several other bulls which sold in the $40,000+ price range which is an indication of the strength of the sale. Top price female was $9,000 for Winvic Tammy from the Marks Family Clermont who was purchased by the Galloway family Banana. Second female top price was $8,000 for Winvic Sabina PP R082 who was purchased by Baroma Brafords, NSW.
